Produced by the Portland Sustainability Institute, the EcoDistricts Summit is the premier annual conference dedicated to neighborhood-scale sustainability innovation.
The Summit is the first conference of its kind focusing on neighborhood-scale sustainable development. It serves the entire spectrum of district-scale development practitioners: developers, investors, companies, architecture and engineering firms, policymakers, NGOs, researchers, municipalities, and others in the field.
Summit attendees will include leading sustainable development business leaders, practitioners, advocates, and academics.
Greetings,
As the Mayor of Portland, Oregon and founder of the Portland Sustainability Institute, I am pleased to invite you to the third annual EcoDistricts Summit.
Through the EcoDistricts Initiative, we're testing best practices for sustainable neighborhood development in Portland. While we are hard at work preparing for a more sustainable future, we know that collaboration is key to making our gains greater and more widespread. The EcoDistricts Summit is our platform to bring together leading municipalities, businesses, professionals, nonprofits and academics around the question of neighborhood-scale innovation.
We had a thrilling event in 2010, and I invite you to join us as we build even greater excitement and deeper learning in 2011.
I hope to see you there.
Sincerely,
